I was really surprised when little Bella produced triplets for her first freshening! She has a big udder too for such a small stature doe but she looks to be nursing triplets well as a first freshener.
If you're curious about her name, I am reading the Anne of Green Gables series and one of the main characters in the novels is Marilla, Anne's adopted mother. I just liked the name and felt it was a good fit for this little doe.
