Its all about the escutcheon on this doeling! She is completely horseshoe there and its excellent! Serenity is a character, climbing on her dam and playing with Echinacea all the time. She's quite a playful girl. She's not quite as big as her littermate sister Patience, but she's not at all small or behind her far either. She's hanging in about the same size as Scarlet and I do believe she too will be big enough for a Fall breeding. I would be eager again here, to see the Spring udder on this girl!
Serenity looks remarkably like her half sister Hallelujah. She's a beautiful combination of gold and white and is just as dairy. She's angular, wide, uphill and dairy. I really love my River daughters! They're all fabulous and looking better and better each time I look at them. Faith and River outdid themselves with there kids this year and I am thrilled with the results. I cannot wait to see her udder and her sisters! She will most likely be bred to Revelation when she's mature enough. This crossing will be a line breeding on both their dam, Caesar's Villa P Faith, but I believe the crossing is worth trying. I've chosen Serenity as the one to do this cross because of the similarities between her and her half brother Revelation. These two should compliment one another nicely and produce exceptional kids. Here's hoping!
Serenity is planned to Jim Beam for her next kidding. This will be another crossing involving Rosasharn lines and Caesar's Villa and I will be anxious to see the results as well as Serenity's udder again. This time she will be milked and put to her true potential.

Serenity at a few days old.

Serenity at a few days old.

Serenity at 4 months not cooperating.

Serenity's first freshening udder nursing a single buckling. Her sister Patience has a little better foreudder blending, but Serenity has a little better teat placement. I may be selling one or the other in the Spring of 2011 after they kid again. Depends on how many kids I am keeping and how many does I'm choosing to part with for space.

Serenity's dam, Caesar's Villa P Faith's udder.

Serenity's sire, J-Nels SQ River Birch.

Serenity's paternal granddam, MCH/CH J-Nels ER Dumplin.
