Palau is the daughter of ARMCH/GCH PromisedLand CP Lil' BoPeep *D *M EE, out of Buttin'Heads Palimony. Palimony's dam is ARMCH/CH Buttin'Heads Wedding Song 3*D E. Her first freshening udder photos are above and below. She is a lovely long doe and we are thrilled to have her join our herd.
     Palau is here and she is a total sweetie. With her summer coat coming in she actually has a lot of white markings on her sides. We are drying her off since we don't need the additional milk right now and she was a little antsy with me too. I didn't need the extra milk so I chose to wait and milk her next year. I must admit her capacity is great. She doesn't look big, but she puts all the milk in the pail. I am very pleased with that.

     I have decided to breed Palau to Laurel Haven KS Kiwi Rising. He is owned by my good friend Paula Crowe. His sire is Buttin'Heads Kiwi Sunrise and he is out of NC PromisedLand MG Panda so I feel the crossing should be very nice. I am hoping to retain a doe kid from this crossing and see Palau's udder again. When she arrived here this year, she was still in milk and her udder was much more rounded and snug to her body than her body profile shows above. New photos in the Spring!
