I have been thoroughly pleased with
my Revelation kids from Fuchsia that I had to keep Jitterbug too. She
has a great escutcheon and width throughout. Her dam freshened with a
nice but small udder. Her attachments and teats were well placed.
Jitterbug is almost as big as her dam already and growing nicely. She is
much nicer than her photos portray considering she was having no part of
our photo session. She refused to stand like a good little girl and
wanted to lay down. So I did try to set her up a bit but she wasn't
going for that either. That being said, she's still extremely correct,
long, wide, uphill and angular. She's sharp and dairy too.
Jitterbug's dam is Cha-Cha who is our smallest
freshened yearling this year, but she is very wide and correct. She gave
that to Jitterbug. Jitterbug's sire is our own SGM S Faith's Revelation.
He's out of our foundation doe Caesar's Villa P Faith who has an
extremely nice udder. So we have high hopes for Jitterbug. She's quite
possibly going to be big enough for a Fall breeding. I can't wait to see
her udder in the Spring. She's more than just a gorgeous, colorful doe.
She's packed with dairy lines and animals and we feel she will freshen
to match our expectations!
