Gwen has matured into a gorgeous doe. She was always a precious sweet little bottle baby doeling but she's really held her own as a yearling. She freshened for the first time at almost two years old with a massively capacious udder with large, easy to milk teats but also very soft dairy texture. Gwen has one of the longest and flattest foreudder I've seen. She blends beautifully into her belly. She also has a lot of height and width in he rear udder. I would like to see more centrally placed teats though. She more than surpassed my expectations. Gwen has really outdone things as a first freshener and she has a beautiful second freshening too. Her production as a first timer wasn't tested but her second freshening was yielding nearly a half gallon a day. We reduced the milkers to once a day milkings and she continues to produce a quart and a quarter to a quart and a half.
