Patience at almost 4 months old. She's a bit pudgy!

     Patience is the biggest kid we've retained this year. For that matter I do believe she was the biggest kid period. She is a big girl! She's quickly catching her dam in size and has almost out grown a few of our yearling does too! I am surprised at her size and at the same time very pleased. She is a bit pudgy too. So far though I love what I see. This River daughter looks almost just like him and she's not disappointing! She is long, wide, angular and dairy.
     Patience is one that I'm pretty positive will be bred this fall. I feel she's growing more than enough to ensure an adequate size for a Spring kidding. So we'll wait till she's old enough and determine who to breed her to. I am not sure yet whether it'll be XCaliber or Sid. Faith's kids always meet my high expectations and I believe this crossing with River will be just as great. So far the two girls we retained from this crossing are both strong in confirmation and dairy character! I cannot wait to see this doe freshen in the Spring. Her udder should be spectacular!
